Jack H. Chadirdjian

Director, Government and Public Affairs, Quebec

In his position as Director of Government and Public Affairs for IBC in Quebec, he is the public voice for the industry in the Province of Quebec.

He is a strong proponent of educating the consumer on prevention and insurance issues and actively seeks forums where property and casualty insurance can be better understood.

With solid experience in public affairs and government relations, Mr. Chadirdjian also acts as the Industry’s representative vis-à-vis partners, consumers and various government authorities. He is also in charge of IBC Quebec’s public relations and communications activities.

Before joining IBC, Mr. Chadirdjian was Director of Business Development and Communications at the World Trade Centre Montreal. In the course of his career, he has been a City Councillor for the City of Montreal and an associate member of the Executive Committee. Mr. Chadirdjian has also been Vice-president of the Board of Directors of the Montreal Transport Corporation, formerly known as the MUCTC. In addition, he has acted as a member of the selection committee for Transport Canada’s Urban Transport Demonstration Program.

Lawyer by profession and member of the Quebec bar, Mr. Chadirdjian also practised law in the private sector for ten years.
