Electronic Error Correction (EEC)

EEC web-based application initially was developed by IBC to provide reporting companies with the ability to identify and correct errors on-line, on a daily basis for auto and OSAB data. Since from January 2008, Auto Stat Plan data is reported through new system, this application remains for OSAB data only.

EEC can help companies:

• reduce deficiency fees;
• reduce paper and courier costs;
• improve timeliness by eliminating the distribution time lag; and
• improve productivity by using the “bulk submit” functionality.
