The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) is the regulatory body for Quebec's financial sector. It protects consumers, enforces applicable regulations, and monitors financial markets. The AMF has set up a Consumer Assistance Section that includes an information centre and a complaint receipt and examination centre.

Bodily injury in the province of Quebec is covered by a government body, the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ). The SAAQ has a Complaints Office for consumers. Click here for a brochure.

If you disagree with the Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec over the amount of compensation you believe you are entitled to, contact the Protecteur du citoyen.
